Purpose: To formulate the acupuncture prescription and needle practices by the law ofclearing brain and opening the orifices. Observing the clinical efficacies that acupuncturetreatments the Deafness of hepatobiliary H.-S. And evaluating the clinical efficacy and itssecurity objectively by the clinical research.Method: The60patients were divided into two groups randomly, the one was theClearing Brain and Opening the Orifices group, the other one was the conventional westernmedicine treatment group. Studied the two groups comparatively, and according to result ofthe clinical symptom score and audiometry inspection to observe the clinical symptom and thechange of hearing of the deafness patients of Hepatobiliary H.-S.. And establishing databaseto conduct the statistical analysis by SPSS13.0.Result: The two groups all had the roles to improve the clinical symptom and hearing ofthe deafness patients of Hepatobiliary H.-S.. The efficient of the treatment group was86.7%,and the efficient of the control group was73.3%. The result prompted that the efficacy of thetreatment group was better than the control group. The statistical result of two groups wasP=0.037<0.05. The difference was notable and prompted that the treatment group was betterthan the control group significantly.Conclusion: The Acupuncture methods of clearing brain and opening the orifices whichwas basic on the meridian system theory and the anatomy and physiology theory could treatthe deafness of Hepatobiliary H.-S., and the efficacy was exact. The acupuncture method waswith few meridians, convenient, safety and no bad reaction, and reduced the deafness patient’ssuffering, easy to be the majority of patients accepted, and have clinical application value.
