This course topic observe its efficacythat treat headache during menstruation with blood-tonic and liver catharsis decoction, toprovide a theory basis for traditional Chinese medicine in treating headache duringmenstruation, and to seek a more effective treatment for clinical application.Method: Select thirty patients whose seeing a doctor at The Affiliated Hospital ofChangchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine during from February,2011toFebruary,2012, that get a headache during menstruation belong to lier constraint anddeficiency of kidney-type. Take medicine for three treatment courses. Compare symptomsbefore treatment with after, and observe its clinical curative effect.Result: The total effective rate is93.3%, cure rate is46.67%,marked rate is33.33%,effective rate is13.33%, invalid rate is6.67%. Compare symptoms before treatment with after,P<0.01, it shows significant differences. Clinical signs and symptoms are obviouslyimproved.Conclusion: Blood-tonic and liver catharsis decoction have a good efficacy in treatingmigraine headache during menstruation (lier constraint and deficiency of the kidney-type).Clinical signs and symptoms are obviously improved. There is no obviously adverse reactions.This decoction is one of the effective methods for treating headache during menstruation.
