Objective:With the clinical study of nourishing yin and tonifying kidney on COS of anovulatory infertility, by discussing its promoting effect on follicular development and analyzing the mechanism of follicles’growth of nourishing-shen-yin drugs in stimulated cycles, this thesis is aimed to correct the pathological aspects which result in female infertility with ovulation disorders and find out an effective strategy on nourishing yin and tonifying kidney herbs in the treatment of follicular dysplasia infertility.Methods:109patients with anovulatory infertility were chosen and categorized into four groups randomly, who were treated in the Reproductive Center of Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from December,2010to December,2011, variables strictly controlled. The groups are:the group of nourishing yin and tonifying the kidney method+micro-stimulus (COS)(Cycle Group for short):26cases,34cycles; the group of dialectical method+COS (Dialectical Group for short):28cases,34cycles; the group of combining nourishing-shen-yin treatment with dialectical method+COS (Cycle Dialectical Method Group for short):25cases,34cycles; simple COS group (COS Group for short):30cases,36cycles. The following variables of four groups in stimulated cycles are compared:the dosage of gonadal hormone (Gn), stimulation time, HCG trigger shot day, endometrium on HCG days, FORT index and the outcome of follicular phase. Results:It is found in the study that Gn dosage has a statistically significant difference (p<0.05), with the dosage of Simple COS Group significantly higher than that of the other three groups; that, as to days of drug use (i.e., Gn stimulation time), HCG trigger shot day, and endometrial thickness on HCG days, there are no statistically significant differences (P>0.05); that during the period of ovulation, FORT index has a statistically significant difference, with Cycle Dialectic Group much better than the other three groups; and that, with regard to the outcome of follicular phase, there is a statistically significant difference (P<0.05) about rupture-cycle rate and no-reaction-cycle rate of dominant follicles, while there is no statistically significant difference (P>0.05) in OHSS tendency-cycle rate and LUFS-cycle rate of dominant follicles, probably associated with the small-sized sample. In addition, FORT index and AMH value are being positively related, while E2and FSH are not. Conclusion:It is concluded that dialectical treatment of nourishing shen-yin, combined with auxiliary COS cycle can be effective in reducing the dosage of Gn in stimulation cycle, increasing ovarian response, promoting cycle-rate of the dominant follicles’rupture, decreasing non-response cycle-rate, and improving the follicle outcome. It is obvious that the binding treatment of traditional Chinese herbs and Western medicine has played an active role in adjusting FORT index.
