Clinical Research Of Massage For Children Acute Diarrhea

Children acute diarrhea is a group of pediatric clinical syndrome which caused by many pathogens and factors, and its main symptom is diarrhea. Diarrhea in children is a threat to life and health of the major diseases in children. According to WHO statistics, every year there are1Billion people suffering from diarrhea, of which500million were in developing countries, resulting in5million deaths in children. Massage therapy become the treatment of diarrhea in children has a long history. The study was put forward by reviewing a great quantity of literature study and clinical experience for many years. Combined with the etiology and pathogenesis, the treatment of infantile diarrhea syndrome massage was developed. Through the clinical research objectively evaluate the effectiveness, safety and economy of massage therapy.In the clinical study, there were treatment group and control group. The gender、age、 onset、course、total symptom score and indexing comparison of symptoms of the patients in both groups had no significant differences(P>0.05).In use of the randomized, parallel-group, multicenter trial method271children with diarrhea were divided into treatment group in which203cases were treated by syndrome massage therapy (wind-cold syndrome、damp-heat syndromee、improper diet syndrome) and control group in which68cases were treated by Smectite Powder and Bifid Lriple Viable. Both the two groups take3days as a course of treatment, the observation time of each case was1to2courses. Evaluate the clinical curative effect of massage therapy treatment of infantile diarrhea through the comparison of the reducing scores of the main and the secondary symptoms of the two groups. At the end of the observation, the numbers of the cases that were cured significant effective, improved and ineffective in the treatment group were193(95.10%)、5(2.50%)、3(1.50%)、2(1.00%).Those in the controlled group were44(64.70%)、10(14.70%)、7(10.30%)、7(10.30%). Primary and secondary symptom in survival analysis before and after treatment in the two group showed that:in the test group, the improvement of stool texture, stool quantity and abdominal distension are obviously better than the control group(P<0.05).The healing obviously efficiency was97.60%in treatment group and79.40%in control group, the experimental group was significantly higher efficacy.The conclusion is that the treatment of children diarrhea syndrome massage is more effective and cheaper than western medicine group, and has no obvious side effects, is worth the clinical promoted application.
