Clinical Study Of Treatment To Postoperative Breast Cancer Patients Use Yiqiyangyin Decoction Combined With FEC Chemotherapy

Objective:Using chemotherapy as the basic treatment, this study aims to investigate the effects of Yiqiyangyin decoction on the life quality of postoperative breast cancer patients. This primary evaluation of Yiqiyangyin decoction provides clinical evidence for traditional Chinese medicine practitioners in treating postoperative breast cancer patients.Methods:A sample of60postoperative breast cancer patients was randomly assigned to treatment and control groups. The treatment group (n=30) was administered one dose of Yiqiyangyin decoction every day for a period of8weeks in combination with FEC chemotherapy. The medication for FEC chemotherapy consisted of fluorouracil400mg/m2d1.8, epirubicin50mg/m2ivgtt dl,8and cyclophosphamide500mg/m2ivgtt dl,8. The FEC chemotherapy lasts for2cycles,4months a cycle. The control group (n=30) was administered only FEC chemotherapy. Following2cycles of observations, the two groups’clinical symptoms, pre-and post-treatment life quality, objective therapeutic efficacy, serum tumor marker changes and levels of chemotherapy side effects were compared with statistical analysis applied.Result:In lowering serum CEA and CA153levels and clinical symptoms in traditional Chinese medicine, the treatment group (n=30) was better than the control group with statistical significance (p<0.05). Further, the treatment group was notably better in alleviating the toxic effects of chemotherapy and in treating lowered white blood cell counts, nausea and vomiting with statistical significance (p<0.05). There was no statistical significance in other areas.Conclusion::In postoperative breast cancer patients treated with FEC chemotherapy. Yiqiyangyin decoction can be combined to improve the patients" clinical symptoms and life quality and to alleviate the toxic reactions of chemotherapy. Yiqiyangyin decoction is an effective treatment for postoperative breast cancer patients.
