The Function Of Strengthening The Spleen And Replenishing Qi Method To The Patients Of Maintenance Peritoneal Dialysis With Malnutrition

Experiment ObjectObserve the changes of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome, Fraction of SGA, Status of nutrition indexes after taking the six gentleman soup.in order to discuss whether strengthening the spleen and replenishing qi method could improve the quality of life of patients of maintenance peritoneal dialysis with malnutrition.Experiment Method1. Object of study In accordance with Inclusion criteria,choose40patients with malnutrition from Renal medicine of NO.1Affiliated Hospita of Guangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine University. The40patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,20cases in each group.2. Control group:dialysis fully, According to the actual patient nutritional status, giving the normal protein diet or high protein diet to them; control infection, correct electrolyte and acid-base balance, correct heart failure, control blood glucose and blood pressure; correct anemia.3. Treatment group:On the basic of the treatment to control group, giving the six gentlemen soup,The treatment time of the two groups is3months.There is no significant difference between the two groups in gender, age, dialysis adequacy, energy intake, dialysis age and severity((P>0.05)Observation indexesBefore and after the treatment, two groups will be observed symptom score, SGA score, hemoglobin (HGB), plasma albumin (ALB), transferrin (TRF), albumin (pre-Alb). The experimental resultsAfter the experiment, the symptoms, a part of laboratory indexes, SGA nutritional scores of the treatment group changed significantly (P<0.01); the symptoms, a part of laboratory indexes. SGA nutritional scores of the control group changed significantly (P<0.01); the treatment effect of treatment group is better than the control group’s, the difference is significant(P<0.05). The treatment group and the control group in the study had no ALT, AST increased, high potassium, residual renal function decline and other adverse reactions.ConclusionThe method of strengthening the spleen and replenishing qi could improve symptom integrals, SGA nutritional scores and laboratory indexes of patients of maintenance peritoneal dialysis with malnutrition, could improve the quality of life of them; the method of strengthening the spleen and supplementing qi can be used as a auxiliary method for patients of maintenance peritoneal dialysis with malnutrition. Deep mechanism of strengthening the spleen and supplementing qi and long term effect need further researched.
