The Observation Of Clinical Curative Effect Of Treating Allergic Rhinitis With Thunder—fire Wonder Moxibustion

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to find an effective treatmeant for Allergic Rhinitis through comparing therapeutic effectiveness of thunder—fire wonder moxibustion with acupuncture and Chinese medicine moxibustion with acupuncture.MethodsSeventy subjects have been selected in the study according to the diagnostic and endrollment standards. They were divided into two groups according to sequence number they were initially involved.8of them were rejected during the study.32of62subjects were treated by thunder—fire wonder moxibustion with acupuncture, and the other30subjects were treated by Chinese medicine moxibustion with acupuncture.Statistic experimental methods have been performed on the following indexes:Classification of the stage, index of severity of symptoms and physical findings within thunder—fire wonder moxibustion with acupuncture group and Chinese medicine moxibustion with acupuncture group.ResultsThe effective rate in thunder—fire wonder moxibustion with acupuncture group was93.7%, while it was90.0%in Chinese medicine moxibustion with acupuncture group.There was no significant difference (P>0.05). However, the curative rate in the thunder—fire wonder moxibustion group(40.6%) was significant better(P<0.05) than it was in the Chinese medicine moxibustion with acupuncture group(13.3%). ConclusionEven though both thunder—fire wonder moxibustion with acupuncture and Chinese medicine moxibustion with acupuncture are effective methods for treating Allergic Rhinitis, the clinical effectiveness of the thunder—fire wonder moxibustion with acupuncture method was more outstanding and comprehensive. The result of the study might provide clinical data for the Allergic Rhinitis treatment.
