BackgroudAs society changes in lifestyle, the incidence of lumbar disc herniation(LDH) is gradually raising in trend, and the rate of surgery is also more and more high. Surgery is a serious psychological physical stress. Lumbar degeneration, nerve damage symptoms, and surgical trauma, make the change of of spine biomechanics, strain of ligament and soft tissue. so once we can’t have right and promptly nursing and treated, it can lead to poor postoperative recovery, cause movement function obstacle, even can cause or worsen primary disease, which can cause patients new psychological problems, that lead to the decline in the quality of life. The success of treatment, not only lies in the surgery itself, is still determined by the perioperative management and postoperative rehabilitation management. But, the currently medical only give the patients of postoperative lumbar disc herniation symptomatic treatment. The recovery slowly and reduction of complications still could not satisfactory because the lack of integrity and rehabilitation treatment to the system of management.ObjectivesEstablishing comprehensive health management mode, through randomized controlled trials compared with the current health management, evaluation the influence of the patients after LDH operation. Guide clinical treatment, enhance the curative effect, reduce the recurrence based on the perfect of health management mode. Methods 88inpatients who had LDH operation of Guangdong Provincial TCM Hospital were randomly divided into trial group (comprehensive health management model) and the control group (conventional management mode). Every patients have1years of follow-up, evaluation standards including SDS, SAS, JOA, VAS and SF-36score.ResultAll cases were followed up. The SAS, SDS score of1and6weeks,3and6months after surgery, testing group is lower than control group, the difference is statistically significant. The VAS score of1week after surgery, testing group is lower than control group, the difference is statistically significant. The JOA score of1and6weeks,3months after surgery, testing group is higher than control group, the difference is statistically significant. The SF-36score of6weeks,3months and1year after surgery, testing group is higher than control group, the difference is statistically significant.ConclusionComprehensive health management model is better than the conventional health management, it can reduce the incidence of anxiety and depression, improve patients’ function, improve the quality of life of the patients.
