The Clinical Observation Of "Stomach Three Needle"Preventing And Controlling Nausea And Vomit By Chemotherapy

ObjectiveTo observe the affection of"stomach three needle"preventing and controlling Nausea and Vomit caused by Chemotherapy, discover the advantages of acupuncture in control of Nausea and Vomit by cancer chemotherapy t. Through the prospective controlled clinical research, strictly follow the Method of Research, on the basis of application of western medicine in the routine to resist side effects by chemotherapy.The research results will provide theoretical and scientific proof of acupuncture preventing and controlling tumor, so as to provide an effective approach to improve the quality of life of patients undergoing chemotherapyMethodsThis part is Randomized controlled clinical study. The60patients who undergoing the platinum drugs chemotherapy were randomed divided into treatment group and control group. Two groups of patients during chemotherapy were given regular treatment that Granisetron Hydrochloride3mg/day by intravenous drip before30minutes of chemotherapy to control nausea and vomiting. The control group were given regular treatment to control nausea and vomiting until the end of one cycle chemotherapy. The treatment group were given acupuncture "stomach three needle" before30minutes of the start of the first day of chemotherapy on the basis of conventionally treating nausea and vomit. The point. locations are as follows:zhongwan, neiguan (bilateral), zusanli(bilateral). Retain the needle30minutes every time, once per day, to the end of one cycle chemotherapy. Two groups of patients who appeared nausea and vomit during treatment were given metoclopramide10mg by intramuscular as compensation treatment. And record the scores of nausea and vomit, karnof sky performance status, dosage of compensation metoclopramidc and adverse reactions.Results①The scores of nausea and vomit in treatment group obviously lower than in control group (P<0.05), which has statistical significance.②The dosage of compensation metoclopramide in treatment group (1.53+0.72a) is far less than in control group (4.10+1.54a), which has significant statistical difference (P<0.01)(3) Both of groups of patients of KPS scores are declined after chemotherapy, but the treatment group was better than control group of KPS score (p<0.05) after comparison, which has statistical signi ficance@The incidence of abdominal distension, diarrhea and constipation of treatment group was significantly lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).GonelusionThe combination of acupuncture "Stomach three needle" and Granisetron Hydrochloridc has the unique superiority than simplely applicatting Granisetron Hydrochloride. This method can decrease the frequency、degree and lasting time of nausea and vomit during chemotherapy, improve thirst and appetite conditions, cut down the amount of compensation i ntrarnuscularty, reduce the influence of chemotherapy drugs to the physical condition of patients, and effectively lessen the adverse reactions during chemotherapy such as abdominal distension, diarrhea, constipation and so on, which greatly improve patients’compliance on chemotherapy, thus ensure smooth chemotherapy.
