Research On Equalization Of Public Health Service Under The Policy Of Balancing Urban And Rural Areas Development In Chengdu City

The problem of inadequate and overly expensive medical services is one of the most important problems of the people’s livelihood that common people care about nowadays, which is the issue that public health service supply trying to solve. Since the public health service is the basic public service that is provided by the government for the entire population to guarantee their lives and health, the government has reason to supply public health service for the residents. But because of all kinds of reasons and difficulties, the government does not succeed to provide equal services resulting in tremendous differences between different areas, the cities and the countryside, and different social groups, it’s not conducive to backward area residents health security system, is not conducive to the realization of social justice.The equalization of public health service supply under the policy of balancing urban and rural development in the Chengdu city is researched in this paper. Starting from the data about public health service offered by the authority of the Chengdu city, Sichuan province and the country， the author introduces the present situation and existing problems of public health service supply in Chengdu. And by analyzing the problems, the author digs out the reason of inequality of basic public health service supply in Chengdu urban and rural development under the policy of balancing urban and rural development in the Chengdu city, and gives some corresponding suggestions to promote the equality of basic public health service supply, hopes to promote realization of all the residents share the public health services.The author thinks that the inequality of basic public health service is as follows:there is still some gap with developed coastal areas in the basic public health service supply; clear differences in basic public health service quantity quality exist between different area. Basic public health service of supply is against to demand of residents. A certain gap exists also between urban rural residents. And the inequality is reasoned from both political and economic reasons, and also caused by the shortage of policy in realization of basic public health service supply in Chengdu. Finally, based on the content of the summary, the author puts forward corresponding Suggestions and countermeasures from develop urban and rural economic integration, rural and urban back-feeding government management in order to promote the equality of basic public health service supply in Chengdu city, and there is significance of reference to balance urban and rural development.
