Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics and differential diagnosing of Crohn’s disease so as to improve the level of diagnosing.Methods:The clinical data of one patient suffered from Crohn’s disease were retrospectively analyzed, and the literature were reviewed.Material:A middle-aged male patient suffered from abdominal pain and diarrhea repeatedly during three months. Then the patient supervened cachexia such as weak, anorexia, anemia and so on. Finally, the pain became worse. The cacation and exhaust of anus stopted. At the same time, the intestinal obstruction emerged gradually.Interventions:To carry out relational examination such as colonoscopy, pathological examination so as to diagnose the patient. And treated the patient with medical treatments. At the end, a surgery was carried out when the intestinal obstruction emerged.Results:Transmural inflammation, non-caseating granuloma and many lymphocytes were found in the postoperative pathologic examination. No evidence about cancer were found. Finally, the patient was diagnosed as Crohn’s disease.Conclusions:The systematic analysis on the basis of summarizing the clinical feature and auxiliary examination is needed to diagnose Crohn’s disease. Multiple mucosal biopsies, deep biopsy and needle biopsy are helpful for diagnosing. In addition, experimental treatment can be used when the diagnosis is not clear. An seasonable surgery should be carried out when the complications appear or no effects appear during the conservative treatments.
