| Objective: 429 asymptomatic person underwent complete colonscopy in our hospital.Their reports and detection rate were analysed to discuss the necessity of colonic examination.Methods: A total of 429 healthy subjects were enrolled in colonoscopy in our hospital.The sex,age,detection rate of intestinal lesions,and the detection of adenomatous polyps were analyzed,then we analysed the relationship between the detection rate of polyps and age plus sex.Result: There were 309 male(72%)and 120 female(28%)in 429 healthy persons accepted colonoscpy.The number of person in group 40-49 years old,50-59 years old and ≥ 60 years old was48(11%),214(50%),167(39%),respectively.133 cases were diagonsed with diseases.there was 1 carcinoma of colon(0.2%),118 of colorectalpolyp(27.5%),9 of diverticulosis of colon(2.1%),and 5 of melanosis coli(1.2%).Positive rate of colorectal polyp and adenoma increased with age(P <0.05,respectively).Moreover,the positive rate of colorectal polyp and adenoma in male are significantly higher than female(P < 0.05,respectively).Conclusion: The detection rate of intestinal polyps is the highest in cadre population in Ningxia,and it increases with age.The detection rate of male polyps is higher than that of female.Electronic colonoscopyis safe and reliable. |
