The Study Of Antibiotic Agents’ Clinical Application And Pharmacists Carrying Out Pharmaceutical Care

Objective The principle of antibacterial agents in clinical application has been taken into practice for many years. There were most abnormal phenomena in our hospital. For example, the rate of utilization was high and we had a variety of antibacterial agents. There were unreasonable phenomena on perioperative prophylactic. Some people used antibiotic agents after operation. Moreover, another people used them for long time. The unreasonable applications not only give rise to resistant bacteria, but also could increase the rate of adverse effect. Therefore, we must pay attention to reasonable applications of antibiotic agents. Ministry of health promulgated antibacterial drug special rectification program in2011. According to this program, our hospital strengthens rectification effects and increase reasonable utilization rate by administrative intervention and clinical pharmacists taking part in treatment.Methods Firstly, Retrospective analytical method was used in our study. Using defined daily dose of antibiotic agents as index, utilization rate of this medicine was compared before and after antibacterial drug special rectification program. Secondly, we must assure the patients’treatment safe, effective and economical, by clinical pharmacists participating in therapy. Thirdly, we could raise some reasonable suggestion for multi-resistant bacteria------Acinetobacter bacteremia by literature retrieval in order to provide theoretical evidences for doctors.Results Our hospital intervenes administratively in using medicine and clinical pharmacists could provide a lot of technical guides for doctors. They could offer all kinds of lecture, participate in clinical work and difficult case discussion. After the clinical pharmacists taking part in antibiotic agents’clinical application and management, the defined daily dose of antibiotic agents (DDD) decreased in our hospital, especially in surgical department. Our study consists of three articles, which show our clinical pharmacists participate in the therapy group and provide pharmacy care for patients. At last, our study indicates Ampicillin/sulbactam has a better effect on Acinetobacter baumannii. It could improve the symptom and clinical signs and don’t have significant adverse effect. Conclusion The administrative intervention and clinical pharmacist taking part in treatment are necessary methods, which could ensure antibiotic agents reasonable application.
