Drug Utilization Research is an important means to understand the drug application rule,which can be observed clinical medication habit and trends in a hospital,a region and a country,the development trend of new drug and causes of eliminated old drugs,More importantly,it is propitious to find out the effectiveness,safety and economy of clinical medicine.The data collected from five representative regions in the country,including Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou,Hangzhou and Chengdu,were collected by the method of drug utilization.In order to discern the current situation and characteristics of clinical medication in various areas,explore the trend and causes of the changes,observe the impact of medical management policies on clinical medication,provide ideas for R & D,and provide references for domestic medical management related policies.The researchers carried out a summary and statistical analysis of the drug consumption sum and the ratio of the composition,the frequency of drug use,the ranking ratio and the daily drug cost.Results:(1)the first three categories of the drug consumption sum in Beijing were antitumor targeting drugs,antimetabolic,other antitumor drugs and adjuvant drugs successively.In 2016,the consumption sum of antineoplastic drugs increased significantly,mainly due to the growth of anti-tumor drugs,and the most common antitumor adjuvant drugs were ubenimex and recombinant human interleukin-2.(2)antitumor drugs amount of the increase is relatively stable in Shanghai area,targeted antitumor drugs,anti metabolism drugs,anti tumor plant medicine is the highest amount of three;The amount of money of medication was also relatively stable;the clinical application of oral chemotherapy with tegafur was very common for cost and DDDs were both in the top 20;the amount of medication of anti tumor adjuvant were not high,only letinous and ubenimex have appeared in the amount ranking;(3)the growth rate of sum of antitumor drugs was stable in Guangzhou area,which was similar to Shanghai.Targeted antitumor drugs,antimetabolic,other antitumor drugs and drug adjuvant drugs for these three types of the highest amount of medication;the sum of oxaliplatin and pemetrexed were growth with at number two or three in 2016;the DDDs of ubenimex,polystictus glycopeptide,letinous,recombinant human interleukin-11 were all ranked in the top 20;(4)The amount of antitumor drugs increased year by year,but the rate of growth slowed down in Hangzhou area,it has been occupying the first ranking for icotinib in the amount of medication since 2015;the clinical application of oral chemotherapy with tegafur was very common for cost and DDDs were both in the top 20;in antitumor adjuvant,ubenimex,recombinant human interleukin-11 and amifostine have high frequency of use.(5)The amount of antitumor drugs in Chengdu declined continuously in 2014 and 2015,and began to recover in 2016.The top three of the consumption amount was antimetabolites,hormonal chemotherapy,other anti-tumor drugs and adjuvant drugs.The DDDs of lentinan sustained first,ubenimex and recombinant human interleukin-11 were also very common in clinical application.From the perspective of drug synchronization,the five regions are basically in a reasonable state.There were large amount of data in this study,which could better represent the actual use of antitumor drugs in various areas.It is found that the inclusion of medical insurance is a very important factor in the selection of clinical application for antitumor drugs.In addition to the low price of some basic old drugs,the price of most of the antitumor drugs were relatively high.In order to reduce the economic burden of many cancer patients,drugs with definite clinical efficacy and mild adverse reactions should be early taken into account medical insurance.
