Objective1.To compare (SWI) with conventional MRI sequence and gradient echo T2*weighted imaging(GRE-T2*WI) in the detection capability and imaging features of cerebral micobleeds (CMBs), and evaluate the application value of SWI in CMBs.2.To explore the risk factors of cerebral microbleeds.Methods142patients collected the Department of Neurology from August2011till December2011to take examination of MRI (T1WI,TAWI and T2FLAIR sequence),SWI and the GRE-T2*WI.All patients’ clinical character data,laboratory test results and the finding of positive group of cerebral microbleeds,the position and quantity of cerebral microbleeds lesion;the number of leukoaraiosis case and severity degree.1.To compare the detection of cerebral microbleeds and imaging finding include singal characteristics,number,geographical distribution,size and shape with SWI and T2*WI sequence.2.Arcording to wether exist cerebral microbleeds lesion,all patients were divided into two groups to analysis the risk factor of cerebral microbleeds.Results142cases selected, the SWI had detected CMBs in patients with53cases,389lesions;GRE-T2*WI in34cases,203lesions;and3cases,7lesions in onventional MRI sequence.The detection rate of CMBs with SWI was superior to GRE-T2*WI (P<0.05).CMBs in the SWI and GRE-T2*were the lack of signal with2-5mm.The CMBs were most found in the basal ganglia and thalamus,and then in cortical-subcortical area, infratentional area.3.CMBs were dignificantly associated with hypertension(P<0.01),and disbetes mellitus, stroke history, lacunar infarction and leukoaraiosis(P<0.05),and the degree of lacunar infarction and leukoaraiosis closely related with the degree of CMBs.Conclusion MRI can diagnose the CMBs,and the SWI has high sensitivity for CMBs.Hypertension, old age,disbetes mellitus, stroke history.lacunar infarction and leukoaraiosis were the risk factors of CMBs.The detectiong of CMBs has a impor value to promt the deree of microvascular disease and bleeding tendency.SWI may help the patients with stroke to forecast bleeding risk,guide the treatment of anticoagulant and assess prognosis.
