Objective1.By comparing the SWI, DWI, the conventional T2W sequence the cerebral microbleeds number’s showing differences in hypertensive patients,Assess the diagnosis value of susceptibility weighted imaging technology in the hypertensive cerebral microbleeds.2. Study intracerebral distribution characteristics of hypertensive cerebral microbleeds.3.Study the relationship of hypertensive cerebral microbleeds with age, hypertension grade, the number of Lacunar infarction, preliminary study the related risk factors of hypertensive cerebral microbleeds.Materials and MethodsRetrospective analysis images and clinical materials of68cases hypertensive microbleeds in Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the April2012to February2013,38males and30females, aged30to82years, mea age60.3±7.9years old.All patients underwent SWI,DWI, conventional MRI sequence examination, statistical analysis the number of cerebral microbleeds showing in the SWI,DWI and conventional MRI T2W sequence,P<0.05, differences were considered statistically significant..The brain is divided into Area A (cortical-subcortical zone),B area (hypothalamus-basal ganglia), Area C (cerebellum, brainstem region),Chi-square test was used to analyze three areas CMBs number of whether there are differences, if there are differences, then again pairwise comparison, the comparison between the three areas,P<0.05,a statistically significant difference, when pairwise comparisons, adjust the significance level0.017,P<0.017, differences were considered statistically significant. And analysis the the relationship of hypertensive cerebral microbleeds with age, hypertension grade, the number of lacunar infarct, Use Spearmanrank correlation analysis, P<0.05, differences were considered statistically significant.Result1. Total cerebral microbleeds numbers are450in68patients. Comparing the number of cerebral microbleeds in SWI,DWI, conventional T2W sequences, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Comparing the number of cerebral microbleeds in SWI, DWI sequences, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.017). Comparing the number of cerebral microbleeds in SWI, conventional T2W sequences, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.017).Comparing the number of cerebral microbleeds in DWI, conventional T2W sequences, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.017).SWI sequence is more sensitive than DWI sequence and conventional T2WI sequence to show hypertensive cerebral microbleeds.DWI sequence is superior to conventional T2WI sequence.2. The SWI sequence shows hypertensive cerebral microbleeds mainly located in the hypothalamus-the basal ganglia(50.67%).3. The number of cerebral microbleeds in hypertensive patients were positively correlated with age.4. The number of cerebral microbleeds in hypertensive patients were positively correlated with hypertension grade..5. The number of cerebral microbleeds in hypertensive patients were positively correlated with the number of lacunar infarction.ConclusionSWI is superior to DWI and conventional T2WI sequences in detecting cerebral microbleeds, are able to provide more accurate information about the diagnosis of cerebral microbleeds, cerebral microbleeds in hepertensive patients are mainly distributed in the Hypothalamus-the basal ganglia. Hypertensive cerebral microbleeds were positively correlated with age, hypertension grade, lacunar infarction.Age, high blood pressure levels, lacunar infarction may be risk factors of the hypertensive cerebral microbleeds.
