Objective:To detect the protein expression of Pim-3, Cdk-2in lung squamous cell carcinoma, analysis their relationship with clinical-pathologic factors, investigate the effects of Pim-3, Cdk-2on the occurrence and development of lung squamous cell carcinoma. Methods:The expressions of Pim-3, Cdk-2in lung squamous cell carcinoma were detected by immunohistochemistry, and their correlations to clinical-pathologic factors, occurrence and development of lung squamous cell carcinoma were statistically analyzed. Results:The positive of Pim-3and Cdk-2protein were significantly higher in lung squamous cell carcinoma than non-cancerous lung tissues (P<0.05, P<0.05). No correlations were found between the expression level of Pim-3and Cdk-2with the gender, size, age, history of smoking through statistical analysis(P>0.05). Having lymph node metastasis group and no Lymph node metastasis group had significan statistical difference (P<0.05, P<0.05)Well degree group and moderately degree group had significan statistical difference than poor degree group (P<0.05). Ⅰ and Ⅱ stage had significan statistical difference than III and IV stage (P<0.05). There were positive correlation between the protein expression of Pim-3and Cdk-2through statistical analysis (spearman coefficient correlation:rs=0.509, P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The high expression of Pim-3and Cdk-2protein might be closely related to the occurrence and development of lung squamous cell carcinoma.2.Positive correlation between the protein expression of Pim-3and Cdk-2is found, which indicates Pim-3and Cdk-2protein might bring synergistic effects on the occurrence and development of lung squamous cell carcinoma.3.The expression of Pim-3and Cdk-2were related to lymph node metastasis, degree of carcinoma differentiation, stages of carcinoma,Combined examination of Pim-3and Cdk-2might be considered a reference to evaluate the carcinoma’s biologic behavior of lung squamous cell carcinoma.
