Background: With the reform of the nursing model, Nursing is becoming more and moreprofessional, It proposes higher and newer request to nurse, especially nurse’s quantity、quality andstructure. The establishment and improvement of nurse’s professional title regime encouraged themto study and work forever, it provided the space for the development of nurse’s professional career.But the criterion pay much attention to the academic ability, it had no objective evaluationcriterion to the professional ability, As a result, nurse’s professional title couldn’t match to theclinical ability, it was impossible to work according to the professional title, which had restrictedthe construction and development of the nursing.Object: To explore the professional title promotion’s core criterion of the clinical nurse in Ⅲ-Ageneral hospital, To improve the nurse’s promotion aptitude management, to combine togetherwith clinical practice, which make professional title’s promotion become more and morescientific and reasonable, and can make the academic career、seniority、academic and researchability combine with the work achievement.Methods: The modified Delphi Procedure was used, and the initial questionnaire was developedthrough literature review and semi-structured interview.40nursing managers who came fromseven province、autonomous region,18Ⅲ-A general hospitals were selected for the study.Results: After two rounds of Delphi Proeedure, the opinion of the experts was nearly consistent. Acore criterion of the clinical nurse’s professional title promotion was developed ultimately from5aspects selecting56essential indicators. Among the total, Promoting primary nurse included25items, Promoting charge of nurse included45items, Promoting co-chief superintendent nurseincluded47items, Promoting chief superintendent nurse included42items.Conclusion:There is tight integration between the core criterion and the clinical practice, It canreflect the service philosophy and difference between nurse, and coincide with the system ofwhole job responsibility; which will encourage nurse to work at the clinical post and provideevidences for MedicalAdministrative Command’s decision making。...
