| Objective To study noise exposed workers’current conditions and its influencing factors of occupational stress, to research noise exposure and occupational stress’s effects on serum cortisol and heat shock protein70(HSP70), and to discuss the application value of cortisol and HSP70as occupation physiology evaluation indexes, in order to propose effective intervention measures, to control occupational stress level of noise exposed people, and to provide basis for ensuring worker’s health.Methods Investigating occupational health scene and measuring occupational disease hazard factors in two chosen enterprises with mainly noise hazards in Guangdong province, found out occupational health conditions of target people; using Occupational Stress Inventory-Revised (OSI-R) to carry out questionnaire survey among599noise group workers and270control group workers. From noise group and control group workers, according to different personal strain levels, chose respectively two groups of workers to test serum cortisol and HSP70contents.Results①4.67%of noise group workers felt highly overwhelmed about occupational role,30.21%of noise group workers felt medium overwhelmed about occupational role,63.61%of noise group workers felt moderate about occupational role,1.51%felt lack of occupational role;8.18%of noise group workers had strong personal strain,28.05%of noise group workers had medium personal strain,62.10%of noise group workers’personal strain were moderate,1.67%of noise group workers were lack of personal strain;20.37%of noise group workers had abundant personal resources,66.44%of noise group workers had moderate personal resources,10.52%of noise group workers were medium lack of personal resources,2.67%of noise group workers were badly lack of personal resources.②Occupational Role Questionnaire(ORQ) and Personal Strain Questionnaire(PSQ) scores, most of their items scores of noise group workers were higher than domestic norm levels, Physical Environment(PE) and PSQ scores, its items scores (excluding VS and PSY) were higher than that of control group workers, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).③With the increase of noise exposure, ORQ and PSQ scores of noise group workers showed an upward trend, Personal Resources Questionnaire (PRQ) scores and its items scores showed a downward trend, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).④PSQ of noise group workers and its items were positive correlated with ORQ and its items, and were negative correlated with PRQ and its items.⑤Factors that influenced noise group workers’personal strain were mainly responsibility, physical environment, social support, role overload, rational cognitive, role boundary, role ambiguity and sex.⑥Noise group workers with high and medium personal strain had higher serum cortisol and HSP70levels than those with moderate personal strain, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);in medium and moderate personal strain groups, noise group workers had higher serum cortisol and HSP70levels than control group workers, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05)Conclusions①People exposed to noises had high level of occupational stress, their occupational role, personal strain levels were higher than domestic norm levels general people built; noises influence in working environment was the main reason causing differences of occupational role and personal strain among noise group and control group workers, it led noise group workers to more occupational role and stronger personal strain.②The main factors that influenced serum cortisol and HSP70levels were occupational stress and noises. Noises exposure and personal strain exceeding moderate scope could lead to increase of serum cortisol and HSP70levels. |
