Objective: By defining the distribution level of occupational stress and depressive symptoms among employees in petrochemical enterprises, the factors causing and leading to occupational stress and depressive symptoms among employees in petrochemical enterprises,as well as the relationship between occupational environmental factors, occupational stress and depression were further analyzed. To provide scientific basis for health intervention, creating healthy supporting environment, optimizing workers' working conditions, improving workers' ability to cope with occupational stress in petrochemical enterprises, alleviating psychological pressure of petrochemical workers, improving work efficiency and promoting workers' physical and mental health. Methods: 1888 workers of a petrochemical enterprise in Jinzhou Liaoning province were selected by cluster sampling method to carry out self-filling questionnaire survey. The effective rate of the questionnaire was 80.5656.The depression symptoms, occupational stress and occupational environment were investigated by CES-DX,ERI and PWE.Variance analysis and t test were used to compare the differences of occupational stress and depressive symptoms among workers in petrochemical enterprises under different general conditions, and multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship between occupational environment, occupational stress and depression. Results: Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in occupational stress among different educational background, working hours, types of work, night shift, regular shift and sleep quality.Univariate analysis showed that in terms of age, marital status, monthly income, position, type of work, night shift, regular class, physical activity and sleep quality,There was significant difference in depression(P < 0.05)and the order of standardized coefficient(?)in multivariate linear regression analysis, the factors influencing depression in petrochemical enterprises are: External payout(?= 0.038),Return(?=-0.245),internal input(?= 0.135),occupational environment(?= 0.124).Conclusion: 1.The higher degree of occupational stress, education level, working hours, types of work, shifts, night shifts and sleep quality are all the influencing factors of occupational stress in petrochemical enterprises.2.The workers in petrochemical enterprises have higher scores of depression.Age,marriage, monthly income, position, type of work, night shift, regular class, physical exercise and sleep quality are all theinfluencing factors of depressive symptoms.Among them, the types of work, regular classes, physical exercise and sleep quality have a particularly significant impact on depression.3.The three dimensions of occupational stress have different effects on depressive symptoms, among which external and internal investment are positively correlated with depression, while return is negatively correlated with depression.4.Occupational environment is also significantly correlated with depression. The worse the occupational environment, the more likely it is to produce depression.
