The Expression IL-6and IL-8in Villi Of Patients With Unexplain Recurrent Spontaneous Abortion

Objective:To investigate the expression of interleukin-6(IL-6) and interleukin-18(IL-18) in villi of Patients with unexplain recurrent spontaneous abortion and normal early pregnant women and to explore its relationship in cytokine of unexplain recurrent spontaneous abortion and the pathogenesis.Methods:63cases of unexplain recurrent spontaneous abortion patients and50cases of normal early pregnant women were selected to detect the expression level of IL-6and IL-18by Real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. And the correlation between IL-6and IL-18were analyzed,too. They are obtained from the Department of Gynaecology and Obstertrics of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University between January in2010to June in2011Results:(1) URSA patients villi IL-6expression level was significantly lower than the normal group, IL-18levels were significantly higher.The difference were significantly between two groups(p<0.05).(2) The expression level of IL-6was downregμlated correlation with IL-18.(r=-0.49, p<0.01).(3) In number of different abortion, IL-6in villi of the changes were no significant differences,(P>0.05),and IL-18expression level is increased with the increased frequency of abortion, was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:(1) The expression of IL-6in unexplain recurrent spontaneous abortion was decreased, which may be weaken the blastocysts implantion,growth and differentiation,, placenta fluffy angiogenesis effects, and lead to a abnormal pregnancy, which this contribute to the abortion.(2) The expression of IL-18in unexplain recurrent spontaneous abortion was increased which may be IL-18play a aggressive cytokine,by inducing INF-y production, effecting the Thl/Th2balance,and the activation of NK cells to fetus aggre damage, leading to the URSA happen.(3) The expression level of IL-6was downregμlated correlation with IL-18.(4) The expression level of IL-6in villi of patients with unexplain recurrent spontaneous abortion has nothing to do with the numbers of abortion,nevertheless,the expression level of IL-18is increased with the increased frequency of abortion,in which IL-18levels are closely related with the number of abortions.
