Detection Of EBV Specific Antibody In Petients’ Saliva With Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

【Objective】To detect the levels of VCA/IgA，EA/IgA in petients’ saliva withnasopharyngeal carcinoma, and to discuss the value in diagnosis of nasopharyngealcarcinoma.【Methods】Saliva and serum from48petients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma werecollected,immunoglobulin A to EBV/VCA and EBV/EA were quantitatively testedwith enzyme linked immune absorbed assay respecttively, the accuracy, sensitivity,specificity and cut-off value of each biomarker were analyzed, the results werecompared with the specimen from62healthy controls.【Results】The levels of immunoglobulinAwere significantly higher in petients thanthat in the healthy controls, the cut-off value of VCA/IgA，EA/IgA in saliva were5.11ug/L and5.31ug/L, in serum were4.09ug/L and5.16ug/L; the sensitivity ofVCA/IgA，EA/IgA in saliva were86.5%and68.8%, in serum were91.7%and81.3%; specificity of VCA/IgA，EA/IgA in saliva were84.9%and86.5%, in serumwere60.92%and82.7%..【Conclusion】Detect of VCA/IgA，EA/IgA in petients’saliva with nasopharyngealcarcinoma is very valuable in diagonosis.
