| There are rich crop straw resources in our country, but the low comprehensiveutilization level and the low efficiency have become an important factor restricting thesustainable development of agriculture. One important reason of the low comprehensiveutilization level is that the straw recycling technology is rarely or absolutely not adopted byfarmers. Therefore, from the view of the theory of technology promotion, theory ofplanned behavior, theory of economic rationality and theory of technology diffusion, thispaper analyzes the factors that impact farmer adopting straw recycling technology. Aquestionnaire investigation of four counties in Anhui province is performed, after whichdescriptive analysis and logistic analysis are used to study the data. The results indicatethat:(1) Farmers microscopic variables such as the age and education of the householder,and the number of family labors have relations with the use of straw recycling technology.The higher education that the householder received, the more are the family labors, and theyounger are the labors, the greater is the chance of straw recycling technology;(2) Theeconomic benefit and ecological benefit are important reason and impetus for farmers toadopt the technology. The high economic benefit is the important factor for farmers to usethe straw recycling technology. At the same time, the improvement of ecologicalenvironment has a significant effect on the agriculture development. Better ecologicalenvironment provide possibilities for higher agriculture yield. Therefore, the requital ofecological benefit is an impact factor of farmers using the straw recycling technology;(3)During the use of straw technology, media propaganda can benefit the efficiency oftechnology diffusion. The farmers have rich social resources to promote the use of strawrecycling technology;(4) The straw recycling technologies which are in line with thefarming practices and more convenient have better application foreground;(5) Whetherfarmers participated in the agricultural industrialization organizations can affect the use ofstraw recycling technology. The farmers which join in the production bases of leadingenterprises locate are more willing to use straw recycling technology. The farmersparticipating in the agricultural cooperative organizations do not want to use strawrecycling technology.In this paper, the case study of the factors that affect farmers to use the straw recyclingtechnology, and the analysis of the impact factors in the process of technology diffusion arethe possible innovation. |
