| With5Siraitia grosvenorii parents (F014ã€F018ã€F020ã€M036ã€M038) and6hybrids as experimental material, to study the heritability and combining ability for main characteristics of siraitia grosvenorii F1. Based on choosing the excellent parents and picking out the excellent hybrids, and with the output of Siraitia grosvenorii and the content of glycoside as the major target to evaluate the potential heterosis of the Fl,which could provid scientific basis for choice of parents and combination selection of excellent and high yield seedless Siraitia grosvenorii breeding. Making for use of the potencial heterosis that exsited variety resources, to breed the excellent quality and high yield seedless Siraitia grosvenorii.1.The study on the main quality characters genetic of Siraitia grosvenorii show that: the color of the stem, the surface of leaves and calyx in staminate flo-wer were clearly influenced by the paternal, but the color of the ovary hairs and the shape of fruit were influenced by mat ermal inheritance.2. The analysis of genetic varitation showed that: there were20character’s variation coefficient all large except the characters of days of sowing to flowering, days of sowing to maturation and the total sugar content, which indicated that there existed abundant genetic diversity among Siraitia grosvenorii. A number of analysis also showed that: the Siraitia grosvenorii characters of horizontal diameter of fruit, vertical diameter of fruit, weight per fruit, total sugar content of manifested as maternal genetic effects. The quantitative characters of grain weight per plant, days from sowing to maturation and solubility sugar content manifested as paternal genetic effects, and that of the others appeared large separation. Their genetic tendency is required further study. The results of variance analysis showed that: except for the fruit shape index, fruit hardness and water content, the othness among other20characters of the parents resched extremely significant(p<0.05). The seedless Siraitia grosvenorii had greater heterosis than the seeded. 3. The analysis of combining ability of the hybrids showed that: elongation rate of stem, diameter of stem, days of sowing to flowering, horizontal diameter of fruit, fruit shape index, sarcocarp content, solubility sugar content, the total sugar content and the content of glycoside V were mostly affected by maternal additive effects; days of sowing to maturation, weight per fruit, yield per plant and vitamin C were mainly affected by paternal additive effects; the hardness of fruit, vertical diameter of fruit and tatal sweet glycoside content were mainly affected by maternal additive effects, paternal additive effects and parents non-additive effects. There were no direct relationship between the seedless Fl generation and the parents in fuit yield and glycoside V. Moreover, they were closely related to combining abinity among parents. The maternal plant F020had higher combining ability in many characteristics, therefore,it is possible to improve the size and quality of fruit.. The seedless and the seeded Fl generation of F020could be used as high yield and high quality potential combination in the offspring.4. The results of correlation analysis among characters showed that: the fruits’horizontal diameter and its vertical diameter should be paid attention to when the high-yield variety of Siraitia grosvenorii was breeded. The differences on breeding high-quality plants from the seeded and the seedless Siraitia grosvenorii were that the yield per plant, fruit shape index and hardness of fruit should be concerned in seeded Siraitia grosvenorii, while in seedless Siraitia grosvenorii being the weight per fruit and horizontal diameter of fruit. |
