The Chinese medicine is the important constituent of the Chinese remarkable history culture and the modern civilization. In the new century, along with the sudden elevation of temperature to "returning to the nature" and "the development and use of natural medicine" in the international society, our Chinese native medicine have been receiving the favour and recognition by various countries for its rich resources and unique curative effect. Therefore, grasping the unprecedented opportunity, and gradually realizing the globalization of Chinese native medicine has become our important task. The Siraitia grosvenorii, also named the Chinese fruit, the longevity fruit, is the unique precious Chinese traditional medicine of our country, and is the high-quality cool drink and very good cooking ingredient. But since now, the Siraitia grosvenorii actually has not had a set of own explicit quality standard system. After China joins WTO, along with the raising of technology barrier and "the green trade barrier" threshold to the traditional Chinese medicine of our country from the western developed countries, the fact that the heavy metal, pesticide residue and so on exceeded the allowed figure already becomes the hindrance from the exportation of traditional Chinese medicine, and then our country can't occupy the advantage in the international raw medicine material market. Therefore, drawing up the reasonable limited standard of contaminants in Siraitia grosvenorii as soon as possible, consummating its quality specification system, and enabling the Siraitia grosvenorii production standardization and the product processing have a legal basis, then providing the technical support and the legal safeguard for the Siraitia grosvenorii production has much significance. The paper takes the Siraitia grosvenorii from the city of Yongfu, Lingui, Longsheng and Rong'an in Guangxi as samples, separately carried on the determination on its heavy metals, residues of pesticide as well as the total colony. The results show as follows:1,The contents of Cd, Cu and Pb are measured by Flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry, and the contents of As and Hg are measured by two channel atomic formula. The RSD of Cd, Cu and Pb is less than 0.53%, and the RSD of As and Hg is less than 0.81%. The average recycling ratio of Pb, Cd, Cu, Hg and As are 91.5%,92.4%,95.6%,95.13%,96.27%respectively. In the four habitats, the contents of heavy metals in Siraitia grosvenoru inexceeds the allowed figure of domestic and foreign content stipulation for harmful heavy metals except for the content of cadmium in Siraitia grosvenorii from Lingui.2,The contents of pesticide residues in Siraitia grosvenorii are determined by the gas chromatography, we discover that the average content of BHC is 0.0264μg/g, the average content of DDT is 0.0810μg/g in the Siraitia grosvenorii in the four habitats. The contents have not surpassed the limited standard of pesticide residue to the Chinese traditional medicine of our country, in margin for safety. The organo-phosphorous pesticides, pyrethroid insecticides are not picked out. The result is satisfying.3,At the same time, the article has carried on the determination to the total colony of the Siraitia grosvenorii in four habitats, the average content of total colony is 6×102CFU/g.Refering to the standards of Chinese traditional medicines and tea of domestic and foreign countries, and carring on the exposed appraisal to the heavy metal contents, we suggest that the standards of heavy metal, pesticide residues and total colony in Siraitia grosvenorii are:Pb≤5mg/kg, Cd≤0.3mg/kg, Cu≤10mg/kg, As≤2mg/kg, Hg≤0.1mg/kg; BHC≤0.1mg/kg, DDT≤0.1mg/kg,Aldrin≤0.02mg/kg; Dichlorvos≤0.1mg/kg, Methamidophos≤0.1mg/kg; Fenvalerate≤0.2 mg/kg; the limited standard of the total colony≤100CFU/g.
