Slaughter traits and wool traits are important traits in rabbits, and its economic value hasan important relationship. Rabbit MC4R gene and DKK1gene is respectively slaughter traitsand wool trait related gene. The melanocortin4receptor (melanocortin-4receptor, MC4R)gene is has been found to be one of the melanocortin receptor genes, is a transmembrane Gprotein-coupled receptor family member. The research has proved that MC4R is involved inthe regulation of food intake, body weight and energy balance in the key signal substances.DKK1is a member of the Dickkopf (Dkk)family, the antagonists of Wnt signal pathway,andthe Wnt signalling pathways is hair, feather follicles induced must, so DKK1has an importantcorrelation in animal hair follicle development. This paper studies the rabbit MC4R gene andDKK1gene polymorphism and its association with economic traits, to looking for in rabbitswith molecular markers related to the genetic breeding of rabbits, and provides a new way andmethod.This study uses high resolution melting curve (High Resolution Meltanalysi, HRM)technology detected Kang da1rabbit135, Kang da2rabbit137and Kang da3rabbit146, atotal of418samples of the MC4R,and analysis the site of mutation with rabbit slaughter traitcorrelation. Using acrylamide gel electrophoresis and silver staining technique combiningmethods to detect the rabbit DKK1gene microsatellite markers, and analied the microsatellitemarker with trait correlations in rabbit wool traits. The results as follows:(1) The No.1, No.2, and No.3rabbit’s PIC values were0.3719,0.3741and0.3663,both of them is greater than0.25, less than0.5, three varieties of meat are moderatepolymorphism. The No.1and No.2are at the Cornell University in rabbit Hardy Weinbergbalance (P>0.05), but the No.3rabbit’s distributions deviate significantly from HardyWeinberg equilibrium (P <0.05).(2) The No.1rabbit of three genotypes of rabbit in body weight before slaughter,forelegs, hind legs, back and waist heavy heavy heavy and whole net thorax percentage5slaughter traits have no significant difference (P>0.05). The2AG and GG genotypes of meat rabbit in the hind heavy traits significantly (P <0.05), AA genotype in the rabbit charactersand other two kinds of genotype difference of rabbit had no significant difference (P>0.05).AA and GG genotypes of rabbit in the back waist weight trait differences (P <0.05), AGgenotype in the rabbit characters and other two kinds of genotype difference of rabbit had nosignificant difference (P>0.05). The2number of three genotypes of rabbit in body weightbefore slaughter, forelegs and whole net thorax rate three slaughter traits have no significantdifference (P>0.05). The3AA and GG genotypes of rabbit in body weight before slaughtertraits had extremely significant difference (P <0.01), AG and GG genotypes of rabbit in frontweight trait differences (P <0.05), AA and GG genotype in rabbit hind Weight Trait hadextremely significant difference (P <0.01). The3number of three genotypes of meat rabbit inthe back waist weight and whole net thorax percentage two slaughter traits have no significantdifference (P>0.05). The same genotype in body weight before slaughter, legs, back andwaist heavy heavy4slaughter traits and1rabbits were higher than those of the2and the3rabbitnumerical.(3) using acrylamide gel electrophoresis and silver staining technique combiningmethods for detection of rabbit DKK1gene, found in two genotypes, but the two genotypes inthe skin area, long hair, hair density, gloss and smoothness of5and rabbit hair traits related totrait have no significant difference (P>0.05).
