Jasmine (Gardenia jasminoides Ellis.), a perennial woody plant of Rubiaceae, is used as Chinese traditional folk medicine for treatment of edema, The fruit can be used as medicine and dye. Gardenia yellow from gardenia fruit in the extraction of natural pigment, is an orange, rare natural water soluble carotenoid. Widely used in food processing, the use of ranks second in the world. The main medicinal components of Geniposide Gardenia. The resources of Jasmine in China are rich. The main purpose of this study is through the Phenophase observation and fruit growth and dynamic observation of growth and Fruiting of gardenia, understanding, and by varying the ratio of nitrogen phosphorus and potassium on the yield and quality of control, thereby improving cultivation measures, increase the yield and content of effective components of gardenia. On the other hand, through tissue culture and rapid propagation system of building, preservation of germplasm resources, for the factory mass production of quality seeds and seedlings to provide technical support. The results were as follows:1. The trend on growth and accumulation of effective components of fruit of Gardenia jasminoides EllisThe combination of effective components and fruit weight of factors, in November20th after the fruit weight was significantly decreased, geniposide content decreases slowly, and the color value is still on the rise. Combination of three factors to consider, if the extraction of Gardenia glycosides production for the purpose of, may be appropriately will harvest time in late October early, beginning around harvest; if by extraction of gardenia yellow pigment for the purpose of harvesting period may be postponed to the end of11months the appropriate.2. The influence of nitrogen and phosphorus and potassium on growth and yield of GardeniaFertilization can promote the growth and development of Gardenia jasminoides; branchlets number, section number, leaf number and flower bud differentiation of fertilizer demand similar, and fruit development with different fertilizer requirement. Nitrogen fertilizer on tree growth especially branchlets length plays an important role; phosphate fertilizer and potash fertilizer to promote fruit yield and improve the content of effective components. Correlation between grain yield is the main factor of single branch fruit number, the whole plant fruit number and length of branchlet. Promotion of gardenia yellow pigment accumulation should fertilize the weight of pure nitrogen44.4kg and pure potassium14.8kg for mu(667m2) The nitrogen and phosphorus and potassium on geniposide content was not affected.3. Strains of Gardenia excellent tissue culture and rapid propagation system of building Callus induction of different parts of Gardenia jasminoides Ellis, can be get white, green and yellow callus in different of color and texture.Shoot tip callus induction effect is best, the induction rate of up to73%. the more suitable callus induction medium was MS+6-BA1.0mg/L+NAA0.5mg/L.Suitability of Gardenia explant startup culture medium was MS+6-BA1.5mg/L+NAA0.5mg/L;proliferation culture medium was MS+6-BA1.5mg/L+NAA0.3mg/L, value coefficient is up to3.5; the more suitable rooting medium was1/2MS+IBA2mg/L, rooting rate was85%; Hardened-seedling transplanting substrate using peat and vermiculite, a ratio of1:1the effect to be best.
