A Study On The Influencing Factors Of The Diseases Controlling Behavior By Scale Farmers

In recent years, the diseases controlling of poultry plays more and more important role on people’s health and the quality of life, and it is an important constituent of public safety and security of most countries. As the development of economic globalization, industrialization and urbanization, as the strategy adjustment of agriculture economic, the diseases controlling of poultry has become a big problem, it is not only affecting the health of people of our country, but also affecting the international competitive of agriculture economic of our country and income of the farmers. It has already become the focus of the whole society. Farmers are the main provider of poultry, the health of such poultry plays a decisive role in our country’s poultry product safety, so the research of how concentrated poultry breeding affects diseases controlling is important.This paper takes examples from Changzhi, Shangxi Province, by using the theory of farmer behavior, information asymmetry, and government macro-control,we research on how the choice of breeding behavior can affect the diseases of controlling poultry under a certain technology, scale of breeding and the constrain from market and government. We survey the farmers, collect poultry breeding data of the last few years from almost105farmers, and inquiry farmers about their understanding of diseases controlling and the marketing problem during the breeding. Finally, we use logit model to do quantitative study, and give a system descriptive of overall diseases controlling. Besides, we also give some suggestion.Through a series of research, we come to such conclusion:1) Diseases controlling involves many aspects. Government should take measures on breeding environment, medicine, laws, quality standard, security poultry certificate and information service.2) the number of poultry what do farmers cultivate have a direct impact on the health of the extent of farming. The more cultivation quantity and the higher the health of poultry breeding, the more secure is the breeding behavior;3) the scale mariculture operator’s cultivation income accounts for the gross income the proportion and the mariculture operator adopts the diseases controlling behavior are closely related. The more the cultivation income accounts for the proportion, namely professional poultry farmers with low income situations, the professional poultry farmers will tend to take more positive and adopt the more health cultivation behavior on own initiative, the health cultivation degree will be also higher, the health cultivation’s concept will also obtain a wide range and more effective dissemination;4) After understanding the factors of diseases controlling behavior, by learning the experience from foreign countries, we give some suggestions: publicize the knowledge of health breeding, training, research, create health breeding information system.
