Study On The Cleaner Production Behavior Of Pig Farm Households In Linyi City

Shandong Province is a major pig breeding province in China,and Linyi City is the largest main pig producing area in Shandong Province.In 2020,there will be 3.507 million live pigs in stock,accounting for 11.95% of the province’s total.4.4 million live pigs were sold,accounting for 13.15% of the province’s total.Pork production was 355,900 tons,accounting for 13.13% of the province’s total.In recent years,with the continuous expansion of pig breeding scale,breeding pollution has become increasingly intensified.In addition,the traditional pig breeding model has been continuously transformed into a modern model.The large-scale and intensive process of pig breeding has accelerated,and the environmental carrying capacity cannot withstand a large amount of breeding pollution.Experience at home and abroad shows that the implementation of cleaner production behaviors by pig farmers can reduce the pollution caused by pig breeding at the source,and is an important way to strengthen environmental protection and improve pork quality.The purpose of this paper is to improve the clean production behavior of pig farm households,reduce the environmental pollution of pig breeding,and improve the quality of pork.Statistical analysis,system analysis and other methods are used to empirically study the issues related to cleaner production behavior of pig farm households in Linyi City from four aspects: concept definition and theoretical basis,descriptive analysis,quantitative analysis of factors influencing implementation willingness,and countermeasures and suggestions.The implementation of cleaner production behaviors by pig farmers plays an important role in reducing breeding pollution,protecting the environment and improving pork quality.Among them,source prevention includes 1 key production behavior of production input selection,process control includes 4 key production behaviors,including environmental maintenance,selection of feed types and feeding methods,establishment of breeding files,and health inspection of breeders,and end treatment includes waste recycling.Utilization and harmless treatment of sick and dead pigs are two key production behaviors.The clean production behavior of pig farm households can prevent pollution at the source,promote the resource utilization of waste,and at the same time do a good job of end-to-end governance,which plays an important role in protecting the environment and improving pork quality.According to the questionnaire data of 382 pig farm households in 3 districts and 9counties of Linyi City,from the selection of production inputs,environmental maintenance,selection of feed types and feeding methods,establishment of breeding files,health inspection of breeders,utilization of manure resources and The cognition and behavior of cleaner production of pig farm households in Linyi City were descriptively analyzed from seven aspects including harmless treatment of sick and dead pigs.The results showed that pig farm households had good cognition on the selection of production inputs,but poor behavior in pig house site selection,feeding water input,and feeding facility construction;they had better performance in environmental maintenance.However,the behaviors in the selection of feed types and feeding methods,the establishment of breeding files,and the health inspection of breeders are not standardized and need to be improved;However,due to the government’s environmental protection pressure,most of them can regulate the disposal of breeding waste and dead pigs.The multivariate ordered Logit model was used to clarify the influencing factors of the cleaner production behavior of pig farm households in Linyi City.The research results show that: respondents’ educational level,breeding mode,breeding scale,degree of specialization,cognition of the importance of feed type,cognition of the importance of manure treatment,cognition of the importance of environmental maintenance,behavioral attitude and government support have significant influences.In order to improve the cleaner production behavior of pig farm households in Linyi City,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions.Farm households should strengthen their own learning and improve their awareness of cleaner production.,improve breeding standards and regulate their own clean production behavior.The government should provide pig farms with financial,technical,talent and policy support,and at the same time supervise and guide the pig farm households’ breeding behavior to ensure the clean production behavior of pig farm households.The association should conduct regular training for pig farm households,and give full play to the role of connection to promote the implementation of cleaner production behavior.Consumers should start with themselves,buy high-quality pork,and increase their engagement.
