The Empirical Study On Dead Pig Processing Behavior Of Pig-Raising Households And Farms In Shandong Province

Shandong Province is a big pig-breeding province in China,and its pig stock,pig output and pork output all account for about 7% of the whole country.With the continuous expansion of pig breeding scale,the number of sick and dead pigs in Shandong province is increasing and the degree of harmless treatment is low,which not only causes environmental pollution but also affects the quality and safety of pork,the problem that the harmless treatment of dead pigs lags behind the development of pig industry is becoming more and more serious.It is an objective requirement for preventing and controlling environmental pollution of pig breeding from the source to standardize the treatment of dead pigs by pig farmers.On the basis of literature review,on-the-spot investigation and visiting experts,according to the theory of planned behavior and government regulation and the relevant regulations on the treatment of dead pigs,aiming at improving the treatment of dead pigs in pig farms in Shandong Province,this paper comprehensively used the methods of system analysis,statistical analysis and game analysis,focusing on the basic theory,descriptive analysis,quantitative analysis and evolution mechanism This paper analyzed and proposed five aspects of empirical research on the related problems of handling behavior of dead pigs in pig farms in Shandong Province.Based on 464 questionnaires from 16 cities in Shandong Province,this paper analyzed the cognition,behavior and environment of the dead pigs from the aspects of the basic characteristics of the respondents,the characteristics of production and operation,the cognition and willingness of the dead pigs,the behavior of the dead pigs and the external environment,so as to understand the cognition,behavior and environment of the dead pigs in Shandong Province and provide the practical basis for improving the treatment behavior of the dead pigs.The statistical results showed that the awareness of the harm of the dead pigs was not comprehensive,the awareness of the policy of the dead pigs was low,and the willingness of the dead pigs to be treated innocuously was high.In terms of the external environment of the harmless treatment of the dead pigs,the government’s punishment for the improper treatment of the dead pigs was relatively large,but the inspection frequency and policy propaganda efforts still needed to be improved,and the subsidy for the harmless treatment of the dead pigs was issued.The government’s efforts to crack down on theunderground market of dead pigs were not enough,and the harmless treatment facilities needed to be improved;at present,the treatment behavior of dead pigs in pig farms was still not standardized,and the improper treatment behavior of dead pigs still existed.The innocuous treatment of dead and dead pigs by pig farmers was of great significance to maintaining the quality and safety of pork and the environment of pig breeding.The harmless treatment of dead and dead pigs in pig farms is of great significance to the quality and safety of pork and the environment of pig breeding.Based on 464 questionnaires,the influencing factors of the treatment behavior of dead pigs in pig farmers were first determined using the binary Logit model,and then the hierarchical relations and related structures among the influencing factors were analyzed using the ISM model.The results showed that nine factors,such as cultural level,culture pattern,scale of breeding,insurance coverage,policy cognition,risk cognition,behavior attitude,facility integrity and innocuous treatment cost,had a significant influence on the treatment behavior of pigs.Among them,the behavior attitude,the innocuous treatment cost and the degree of facility integrity were the direct influence factors on the surface,the insurance participation,the policy cognition and the disease and death pig harm cognition were the indirect influence factors in the middle level,the breeding mode,the breeding scale and the cultural degree were the deep root factors.In the implementation of the government policy,the government and the pig farmers can not grasp all the information.At the same time,considering that the government and the pig farmers are affected by their own cognition and the uncertainty of the external environment,both sides are limited rational.Both the government and the pig farmers,as limited rational economic people,improved their own strategies by learning and imitating the advantage strategies.In this paper,evolutionary game model is used to study the evolution process,stability points and influencing factors of the policy choices of government and pig farmers in the treatment of dead pigs.The research results show that: the selection of the government and pig farmers ’treatment strategies and the government’s supervision costs,public attention,the government’s supervision ability,the reputation loss of the government’s passive supervision,the cost of innocent treatment of pigs,government subsidies,and the illegal sale price of pigs.The probability of improper treatment of pigs by pig farmers is found,and thepunishment of pig deaths by pig farm ers is related.Further simulation results show that the government can effectively promote the government and pig farmers by providing appropriate subsidies to pig farmers who carry out the harmless treatment of dead pigs,increasing the punishment for the improper treatment of pigs by pig farmers,and increasing the public’s attention to the quality and safety of pork.The treatment strategy for dead pigs converges to an ideal equilibrium.In order to promote the innocuous treatment of dead pigs in pig farmers,the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the treatment of dead pigs in pig farmers in Shandong province were put forward from three aspects: government,pig farmers and association.The government should increase the support to moderately expand the scale of breeding livestock and poultry farms;We will strengthen the building of grassroots environmental protection teams and strengthen the implementation of policies to prevent and control pollution from livestock and poultry farming.Strengthen the declaration and raise the consciousness of pollution prevention and control of livestock and poultry farms.Pig farmers should raise the level of breeding management and prolong the sustainable development of livestock and poultry farms.Strengthen training,improve their own cultural literacy.The association should provide more learning platforms and opportunities for decision makers in livestock and poultry farms to improve the consciousness of pollution prevention and control of livestock and poultry farms.
