Based on development status of pollution-free vegetables production in Suzhou, and the extension investigation of pollution-free vegetable production technology, this author communicates with farmers systematically, understands their decision-making motives and influencing factors of using of technology, proofs technology extension of "company(leading enterprises)+base+farmers" mode and production operational mechanism Jointly, and takes consumer surveys, then investigates the consumption factors affecting the public’s spending of pollution-free vegetables, at the end drawns this paper’s conclusions and makes recommendations.In this paper, following the conclusion of the study:1. Sustainable agricultural development is the main agricultural and rural development form at present and in future, but the production of pollution-free agricultural products is the direction of sustainable agricultural development. On the extension and application of the pollution-free vegetable production technology, we should not only understand the new method and technology of pollution-free vegetable production, but also master the basic theory, methods and skills of agricultural extension. Only by combining the two above, we can spread of the new technology to farmers better, faster, and more equitable.2. In the technical extension of pollution-free vegetables, the government should strengthen the guiding role and policy support, and create a favorable external environment of technology extension of pollution-free vegetables, use farmers schools, farms, training, advisory services, television, newspapers, and so on simultaneously, and promote pollution-free vegetable production technology comprehensively.3. The mode of "company(leading enterprises)+base+farmers" combines close advantage of company brand, advantages of information and sales network, superiorities of base technology and standardized production management, and group advantage of farmers’rational distribution and regional plots of production, then forms industrial advantages of scale, intensive, high quality of pollution-free vegetable production, and increases market competitiveness4. Through "(leading enterprises)+base+farmers" mode of operation in Suzhou,we can see this mode advances the time farmers joined in from the technology promotion stage to the technology research stage, and typical leading also changes from single typical farmer to typical farmer simultaneously with base model, thus more conducive to the participation of farmers.5. The public’s understanding of pollution-free vegetables is still far from enough, the main source of getting the pollution-free vegetables information are television, newspapers and networks.On the basis of research findings above, this paper raises the corresponding recommendations and improvement measures against how to further promote pollution-free production technology, and strengthen policies and mechanisms of using this technology by farmers.
