With the improvement of people’s spiritual culture and the growing emphasis on health, improved indoor environment has become an irreversible trend. Domestic horticulture plants stand out in a large number of interior decoration materials become the best indoor decoration materials. There is great potential in the interior and landscape design applications. In this paper choose12domestic horticulture plants as test material, observe the ornamental quality under different shading treatmengs. Explored their morphological characteristics, physiological characteristics, photosynthetic characteristics in a series of changes to adapt to low light conditions under different shading treatments. And the results as following:1. Relying on sensory effects judge from the four aspects of the leaf color, plant type, yellow leaf. Classification the12kinds of plants in four different shading treatments, results are as follows:The first category:vision effect in the four treatments are good:Tiger Piran, Pachira, Chlorophytum, Money tree; The second category:ornamental effect are good under treatment A、B、C:Peperomia, White palm, Fimbristipuiata, Rich dish, Rosemary; The third category:vision effect are good only under treatment B、C:bird’s-nest fern.2. From the study of the growth characteristics of12kinds of plants, draw a conclusion:In the dwindling light environment, plant leaf thickness changes, specific leaf area increased; by increasing leaf number and leaf area to enhance light absorption and utilization; by higher plant height to avoid the low light conditions and strengthen its ability to adapt to low light.3. From the study of the physiological characteristics of12kinds of plants, draw a conclusion:Plants by increasing the relative content of chlorophyll b content and chlorophyll content to enhance the absorption of light; enhance its ability to adapt to low light; Under optimal light conditions soluble sugar content towards maximum and POD activity values towards minimum. 4. From the study of the photosynthetic characteristics of12kinds of plants, draw a conclusion:With the strengthening of the shade degree the daily changes of photosynthetic rate turned from double-peak curve to single-peak curve. Photosynthesis peak is lower; Light compensation point to a lower intensity zone transfer; The light curve of the beginning of inclination increase; According to its photosynthetic characteristics, the ability of11plants to adapt to low light was in order of:Bird’s-nest fern> Ginseng dishes> White palm> Chlorophytum> Peperomia>Rich dish>Fimbristipuiata> Tiger Piran>Jade bamboo>Pachira> Money tree.5. Comprehensive analysis of various factors, obtained:Chlorophytum, Peperomia, White palm, Bird’s-nest fern, Ginseng dishes, Rich dish, Fimbristipuiata are most suitable for the selection of indoor and landscape. Tiger Piran, Pachira, Money tree are have a wider light range, both good growth under high light,but also good growth in the weak light. All are very suitable for interior decoration.And appropriate air and light will be more conducive to improving the quality of thief indoor viewing. Jade bamboo suit to placed in a room with enough light; Rosemary needs a strong light, its not suitable for placed in a room.
