In order to improve the yield and quality of “Pan Yu5”, which the seed of hybrid maize inpractices, I take the eco-climatic conditions of Luliang Yunnan as the background in this study.Andresearch the methods of seed producing from field experiments in recent years, report the affectingfactors on yield and quality, and find out the methods and technical measures of maize seed producing,and according to the characteristics of “Pan Yu5”, research the planting density, than Ratios betweenParental, pollination methods and other key technology measures the impact of seed production related,breed the high-yield, high-quality, efficient seed, promote efficient seed, seed-effectiveness of practiceto improve the operability of the cultivation basis for guidance in Luliang county. Test results showthat:1.the most impact factor is different planting density on yield of maize seed.As the density increases, the period of cutting female flowers, silking and maturity extended, whenmore than90000corns per hectare, the second ear of this corn corresponding reduction, empty earsincreased, while the effective ears increased with the density increases; Weight per1000seeds decreaseswith the density increases. Looking at the results from this study, the variety of planting density perhectare set in90000, its production is the most ideal, is the most appropriate planting density, it’s yieldis reaching4350kg per hectare.Higher or lower than this density, the yield is reduced. When thedensity is low, the individual growth well, although the grain weight increase, but the total number ofplants is not enough,wasting light and land, the yield is not high. If the density is too large, the yield ofper plant is severely decline due to the light conditions weakened., so the productivity is low.2. Ratios between Parental for corn seed production is also affectedThe results showed that: the species met in flowering well, are using artificial pollination, the earof the bald than with our parents increases, that is accompanied by strong rate of increase than thedecline.When the Ratios between Parental was set to1:7, the highest yield more satisfactory,1:6and1:8badly,1:5and1:9poor. When the ratio line is low, the male plants is excessive, the female is alittle less, yield reduced. When the ratio line is high, the number of female are more than the male,butthe amount of pollen is obviously inadequate, with poor pollination, low seed setting rate, affected theyield of corn.3. In the same plant density, same Ratios between Parental than our case, after artificial pollination,the ear is full, bald is little, seed setting rate and grain weight and yield and efficiency are high, theaverage yield of artificial pollination of the district is higher than the production of natural pollination to858kg/hm2. After reducing the expenditure of work, the economic results is high4614.00yuan thannatural pollination. That is to say artificial pollination better than natural pollination.In short, maize seed producing is a complex agricultural production process, vulnerable togeographic,climatic, market and human, and many other factors. But as long as the production basecan seriously varieties of seed in accordance with the technical requirements for production, better water conditions in Luliang, will be able to produce high-yield, high-quality, high efficiency corn seeds.
