| The rapid development of urbanization has changed the original pattern of green space inthe city, and has brought serious ecological and environmental problems. In order to make thehuman and the nature harmonious coexistence and development in the city, we need to establisha sustainable green space system which can meet the needs of development for urban ecologicalenvironment. In this case, we need to re-examine the important role of urban green space inplanning and management of urban development. Although China has made great achievementsin this aspect, there are also some deficiencies. Therefore, it is significant to study the planningand management of urban green space for promoting the healthy development of the city. Thisarticle takes Guangzhou City as an example to study the green space planning and management.Firstly, it indicates the practice and situation in Guangzhou City and clarifies the disabledperformances and reasons, including the imperfect of relevant legal system, the lag of philosophyin the planning and management system, the fragmentation of urban planning and management,etc. To solve these problems, the article studies deeply in the green space planning andmanagement philosophy, the executer, the policy-making and implementation, legal protection,and promotes relative measures to enhance the planning and management of urban green spacescientifically, democratically and authoritatively, so as to promotes the development of urbangreen space planning and management practices, further to benefits the process of China’surbanization. |
