The eco-network establishment is a new concept of landscape planning model. Its appearance can be helpful to reinforce the connectivity and integrity of ecological patches, corridors and node network system. As a hot spot in research of landscape planning, the construction of green space ecological network involves a lot of intercross subjects such as ecology, urban planning, garden landscape and so on. The paper reviews the current situation and development of eco-network, analyses its typical cases in domestic and international and summarizes its mainstream approach. The paper takes Baiyun area as a researching case. It tries to build a green landscape eco-network select the major ecological patches and corridors in research area through GIS and the eco-network programming method. It also tries to build potential eco-corridors among each core patches, comprehensive analysis and optimizes the complex eco-network(contains gardens, agricultural land, water and other generalized ecological green land of urban and rural), explores the eco-network planning and construction idea of urban-rural integration, so as to provide reference for green space landscape planning and management. The research results are as follow:(1) The characteristics of landscape pattern of ecological green lands. Theanalysis of the general landscape pattern in Baiyun area indicates that, the NP of itsland utilization is 8757, PD is 13.14, LD is 1.74. It endows with rich naturallandscape such as Baiyun Mountain, Fengmao Mountain, the South Lake, LiuxiLake and so on. The ecological green landsacpes in Baiyun area is unevenlydistributed. Most of them gather in the east and the southeast region. The trend ofthe green lands’ distribution likes a strip. The landscape area of woodland accountsfor 44.9% of total landscape area, most of them distribute in the east and thenortheast region Water comes in second accounts for 27.2% followed by cultivatedland, urban park green, garden. The degree of the fragmentation of irrigatedfarmland and forest land are much lower than other types of green space. Thebiggest patch areas of them are 27.2 and 13.7.The main types of green space are public green space and protective greenbelt. Park greenbelt and street greenbelt are relatively deficient. The green coverage rate of each town and street is different. The green space is unevenly distributed. Most of them gather in the southeast region and the area alongside the region. The green of central area is more deficient. The connectivity of each green landscape is weak. The majority of these patches are small and seriously fragmentized. Moreover, the patches of different kinds of green spaces differ in sizes.(2)The identification of core plates and the establishment of potential eco-corridors.in research area. Allowing for the importance, location, area of each patch, I select Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area, Maofeng Mountain Forest Park and other 10 area as my research area. 22 potential corridors are generated by the minimum cost way and are numbered in order of location or importance. I select and filter each corridor to find an eco-network construction scheme of corridor which has a high eco-value and strong connectivity. Two different plans are formed in a connectivity perspective and establishing cost perspective. The connectivity of Plan A is weak in the northwest and central region. So it will gain traction and cost in the process of building. Plan B focuses on connecting all the patches to build a ring eco-network. This plan costs much lower by making use of current available eco-corridors. However, the accessibility of each corridor is relatively weak.(3)Optimizing eco-network plans. I use analysis by synthesis method. Tooptimize the established eco-network to build a new eco-network of goodstability and high connectivity From different angles, we can build a complexeco-network combining entertainment, eco-protection with good connection.Eventually the Baiyun area can form a unique eco-network pattern by "core" and"corridor", "piece", including eco-green cores of Baiyun Mountain, JulongMountain, Fengmao Mountain and eco-nodes of Baihaimian wetland, Jianggaowetland, Baiyunhu wetland. To build "SanZongLiangHeng" eco-corridor systemincluding Liuxi river eco-corridors, the Baiyun Mountain- South Lake- Southtang Mountain eco-corridors and Xihangdao eco-corridors, the BaiyunLake-Baihaimian- Fengmao Mountain eco-corridors, the Zhongluotan–Bailanhua eco-corridors.(4)The network pattern of green space can be scientific and reasonable by adopting sorting core patches, least cost method and optimizing eco-network method. The new green eco-network has certain eco-value. It can not only increase connectivity among each green patches, but also relieve the contradiction between the urbanization process and eco- protection. In the process of building an eco-network, we need to put the urban greening and eco-protection into the urban overall planning. What’s more, we should lay emphasis on building complex and multi-functional eco-corridors. At the same time, the overall balance of the urban green space layout should be taken into account.
