The Discussion On Designing The Outdoor Environment Of Rehabilitation Sanatorium In Chongqing

Sanatorium outdoor environment as an important part of the sanatorium having a special role in rehabilitation, which has a positive significance effect on body and mind. We should pay more attention to the sanatorium outdoor environment. And the study on sanatorium outdoor landscape is relatively less to other environment. The research on it is valuable. The rehabilitation sanatorium outdoor environment is to be the research object. The author hopes to provide some theoretical suggestions on after research on therapeutic landscape.The full text is discussed from the following aspects:(1) The people mainly experience the sanatorium outdoor environment, and the main users of the sanatorium are the convalescents. They are the most important crowd who feel the environment. So the convalescents’need of their outdoor environment is considered. By the way of questionnaire survey, the main activities in the sanatorium environment are survived. Exploring the psychological characteristics and behavior characteristics of convalescents, in order to find out the method to design outdoor environment to meet their needs.(2) Through research the convalescents’ physiological, psychological and behavior demand, the author analyzes the basic characteristics of sanatorium outdoor environment. The characteristic features of outdoor environment are characteristics functions, types and compositions.(3) Based on the physiological, psychological and behavior demands of convalescents combing the studying of therapeutic landscape, respectively discusses the three design strategies of outdoor environment. They are named sports strategy, communication strategy and landscape strategy. Sports design strategy includes physical recuperation system, mind recuperation system and horticultural therapy system. Communication design strategy includes privacy communication space, half open communication space and open space. Landscape strategy includes building with visual aesthetic feeling, interest landscape and seasonal variation. At the same time, also discuss the methods of the elements in outdoor environment, which intended to create the sanatorium outdoor environment meeting the needs of all convalescents.(4) As an example of the outdoor environment of Chongqing Yangjiaping sanatorium, analyses the outdoor environment. And put forward the perfect outdoor fitness environment, human environment and strengthening design of landscape diversity and suggestions.
