Research On Designing Accessorial Space In Indemnificatory Community

Indemnificatory apartment is the most important part of China’s housing guarantee system, and the accessorial space of which impact the quality of the community directly. These accessorial spaces meet the basical entertainment, comsumption and requirement of residents, as well as providing spaces for residential management department. A high-quality accessorial brings several benefits to the community, such as enhances the feelings of belonging, provides a more secure living space, brings convenience for residents and provides a foundation for sustainable development. It is capable of promotion and the formation a virtuous cycle for indemnificatory community.As the policy-based housing, whether from the architectural aspect (living density, construction costs, architectural forms) or residents’ point of view (age structure, economic conditions, habits), indemnificatory apartments have different accessorial spaces from common commercial housing. This thesis bases on the characteristics of architectural space and resident of indemnificatory apartment, through exploration on the theories of designing accessorial space in community and social research on residents in indemnificatory apartment, to explore the ideal method of designing accessorial space in indemnificatory community. After researches of projects, the conclusion on function, scale, space, accessibility and other design strategies are illustrated in the thesis.
