NS100G-5railway crane can be defined that on the basis of the study of N1002railway crane’s performance and structure, we do the first technical remold on telescopic arm which is related to the turntable upper suspension arm and the control system. This paper focuses on the NS100G-5crane’s second speed-raising remold which can be changed to the type of NS100GA-5, the remold focuses on the under part of the crane turntable,it also can be called as the running and braking system remold and the jib plat car speed-up remold. On account of the flaw of NS100G-5truck crane’s bogie, we have done a deeply research on its structure and performance by dynamic performance. Through the research, we find the way to solve the problem that is by cancelling the balance beams, changing the frame structure of the bogie, increasing the spring static deflection of axle box, installating the vertical hydraulic shock, changing the way of running. On account of the flaw of NS100G-5crane’s ET-6brake system, we have developed a combined brake system for railway crane JZ-7components and a120valve by calculating and analysing. Jib plat car is an indivisible part of railway crane, it needs increase the speed after the main system has increased speed. On the basis of performance and structure about the NS100G-5crane’s jib plat car, we suggest that the K2bogie be changed to type8bogie, GK be changed to120Valve,13small slack coupler be used.we have put forward the remold plan by theoretical analysis, we focus on the remold process according to the performance and characteristics of railway crane. According to this paper, Chengdu company has put forward the theoretical plan, they have completed4sets of N1002crane’s remold successfully which are from Urumqi Railway Bureau, Lanzhou Railway Bureau, Nanning Railway Bureau. This remold’s main parameters can also be compared with the new-made100t crane. The first remoulded crane has had a dynamic test in Urumqi Railway Bureau, the maximum speed goes up to132km/h, all of the targets meet the needs of technical requirement and relevant standard. In order to enhance the rescue range, improve the work ability, shorten the rescue time, we use the telescopic arm instead of long arm while the maximum speed reaches up to120km/h,it indicates that the NS100GA-5railway crane has been remoulded successfully, this will make positive contribution to the development of railway transportation in China.
