| With welded structure used on the bogie of high-speed train widespread, many accidents are lead to happen sine some engineering technical personnel ignore weld flaws. So we need to knowledge flaw types and mechanical properties of typical welded joints in the bogie. It is important for us to know effects of welded flaws to structural strength.Numerical modeling technology has made a great progress because of the development of computers. It has been a new method to study weld problems. In this paper, all kinds of welded flaws are studied on the base of FEM. It is analyzed with the elastic-plastic FEM that the gas cavity,crack shapes and the geometry factors have effects on the Stress Concentration Factor and J integral. The results indicate that different shapes and geometry factors have different variable laws.Finally, the background of this paper is the CW - 200 bogie. It emphasizes that the crack has effects on the stress and strain. The numerical results think that cracks in the welded joints reduce the life of bogies greatly. So it is essential to reinforce quality control in order to avoid having welded flaws. |
