In recent years, as China's railway development by leaps and bounds, All the speed of passenger and freight transport were increased. The railway crane is one kind of key installations handling and removing railway accident, it should also have the capability to adapt to contemporary rescue, At the moment,the tenure amount of N1002 crane that is the succoring installation of railway department is more than 100, but it is limited by structure, and they can not content railway transportation over style development.Since the tenured amount of NS1002 is big,and their construction and performance may be improved, the railway ministry determines to carry on NS1002's technology transformation.In the dissertation,combining with policy for the Ministry of Railways and the actual requirement of the railway transportation, according to the existing problem and the fault of N1002 crane,their structure and performance were analyzed and studied in detail, the design options of NS100G type 100t telescopic boom railway crane are put forward.Based on mature design and successive manufacturing experience gained from present large ton railway crane in China, and with reference to and absorption of advanced technology and design concept of automobile crane and foreign crane,modification and innovation on this type of railway carne are made in main steel structure, power and transmission system, hydraulic system, bogie, driver cab and other important components for optimization of main parameters and structures by survey and analysis on design and operation of conventional railway crane. The design concept of this railway crane is finalized by CAD for optimization. Finite element static strength analysis and calculation of main steel structure, crane stability analysis and calculation, and crane dynamic performance analysis and calculation are detailed. Based on various analysis and calculations,detail structure and weights are optimized for higher structure reliability in design and railway performance. The main technical parameters of the NS100G crane reached the domestic new 100t telescopic boom railway crane's level,and provides a reasonable and workable solutions for the present difficulties faced by N1002 type fixed boom railway crane.
