With the promotion of energy conservation and low-carbon, public transit is becoming more and more popular. Busses are playing an important role in the public transition system. In recent years, bus’s developing was very fast, many kinds of advanced technology make bus both safety and comfort, but review the past ten years, the bus electronic equipment for passengers nearly made any progress.When people travell by bus, not only safety is necessary but also the known of travelling information is necessary too. Bus’s low level of informationize can’t prove the travelling information to passengers, so at the background of information society, to improve the bus’s information level is very indispensable.In this paper, a kind of bus’s comprehensive information display system had been put forward, the system focus on information and safety, aim at improve the bus’s information level. First, gave an detailed introduction of Embedded system, ARM technology and GPS navigation system. Second, a questionnaire was made to determine the system function. Third, according to the system function, the system design was put forward. Then, both the hardware and software of the system were carried out. Finally, the system functional test was made, a summary and outlook was put forward.The system use SUNSANG’s s3c2440chip as the microprocessor, chose the Embedded Linux as the Operating system. On one hand, GPS module and DS18B20module gathering the location and temperature information, the Qt4program displaying the information to the LCD screen. On the other hand the USB camera collecting the image to reduce crime, supervise and urge the driver safe driving and ensure the passengers’safety.Due to the test, the system was able to achieve the expected function. This system gave the passengers an ease trip, improve the bus’s information level. Also, some other function such as Ad play or Video play could be added to the system.The bus’s comprehensive information display system had an great developing and application space. |
