The modern satellite technology is putting higher and higher requests on on-board embedded computer. In the rigorous aerospace circumstance, it has been and will always be aerospace pursuance to design and produce satellite embedded computers with longevity, high reliability, miniaturization and low cost features, and the reliability is the key factor. In this paper, the reliability techonolegy is researched on the on-board embedded computer system that makes use of the domestic P1750A CPU .The design criterions, modeling, precomputation, assignment and electronic component of reliability of the on-board embedded computer were analyzed.Designs of redundant, radiation hardening and anti-lock of CMOS integrate circuit were developed as the reliability steps of the on-board embedded computer system. Through the analysis of FMEA and reliability, the methods of prognosticating and assessing the design of products were developed.The test methods of validating the reliability of the on-board embedded computer, such as condition stress test, condition simulation test and reliability increasing test were studied. And the model and methods of assessing reliability were designed.The engineering sample of the on-board embedded computer was designed, which was made up of P1750A CPU made in China. And it is better than that on FY-1(02) meteorological satellite in the performance and reliability. The paper will provide useful suggestions to the reliability designs in other rigorous circumstances.
