Coal as a major source of energy for China’s industrial development and life, has always occupied an important position in China’s energy consumption. Coal resources in China "North More and South Less, West More and East Less" distribution pattern, resulting in coal transportation occupy an important position in energy transport in the country. Because hydropower can not meet the needs of life and production, security of supply of coal transportation, have a huge influence on China’s southern and eastern life and production, and will not change in the short term Together with many problems in the coastal coal transportation process in the peak season demand often lead to power plants and living in the South ran out of coal, so the research on maritime coal transportation security ability is very necessary.Based on structural equation theory, this paper explore seaborne coal transport channel support capabilities through the AMOS(Analysis of Moment Structures) software. Firstly, put forward the concept and scope of the study of China’s seaborne coal transport corridors. Secondly, analysis the status quo of China’s coastal coal transportation channels. Finally, based on structural equation theory, with the help of AMOS software, to establish a correlation analysis model of the selected indicators, derived from the empirical results support capability of China’s seaborne coal the most relevant factors,and in accordance with the order of importance of each factor, policy suggestions was proposed to improve China’s offshore coal transportation channels support capacity.
