| With the development of the shipping industry, the shipping company’s competition is increasingly fierce. Under the influence of life, family and social factors, the crews are facing great pressure. The problem of crew fatigue is increasingly prominent. Information from all sides indicates that crew fatigue phenomenon is deteriorating and has a rising trend, this phenomenon has become one of the most threaten. So the problem of the fatigue of the crew should be paid more attentions on than ever before by the whole world.Finding an accurately determination method of duty officer’s fatigue not only will have important theoretical significance because of providing the maritime investigation department with an effective investigation method, but also will have great practical significance because of finding the effective measures to alleviate crew fatigue, avoid the sea accidents caused by crew fatigue, reducing casualties and economic losses. So it will ensure the safety of the marine traffic and produce a great social value and a economic value.In this paper, by studying human fatigue mechanism, on the basis of analyzing and summing up the human fatigue evaluation methods such as the motor vehicle driver’s fatigue, the crew fatigue, the pilot fatigue and others, combining the characteristics of duty officer’s duty, we have analyzed the cause of the duty officer fatigue factors, then have established the duty officer fatigue evaluation index system including the short-term abrupt factor and the long-term accumulation factor.This paper has established the duty officer fatigue evaluation model by using the analytic hierarchy process and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The model evaluates the degree of the duty officer’s fatigue. After that we have used MATLAB to programming the model so that the automation of evaluation could have been done.Finally, this paper will put the model into use on an optional duty officer to verify the feasibility of the model and analysis the result of the evaluation. |
