In our country, the production of electromagnetic relays for many procedures are used in manual operation, in the production process, because the material, machining, assembling and other factors, resulting in poor performance quality consistency, reliability is low, its mechanical parameters, structure parameters and electrical parameters are larger discreteness, often in industrial accidents. Along with our country industry to develop in the direction of intelligent manufacturing, electromagnetic relay in China more and more extensive application. As the motor with electronic components, its quality is very important, not only directly related to the quality of production equipment, but also related to the safety of the operators. Their applications are mainly industrial site, once fault occurs, the consequences can be very serious, need to use the instrument for electromagnetic relay the implementation of a comprehensive, automation, accurate measurement, in order to achieve its production process in strict quality supervision. This paper analyzes the present situation of relay test technology, based on the virtual instrument of relay test technology. Elaborated the relay coil when power on and off time parameter causes, relay contacts in the closed and opened when the contact resistance of the reasons for change, relay operation value and the release value causes, as well as the relay time parameter, contact resistance, coil, current operation value and the release value of dynamic the purpose and significance testing.This paper first on the relay of international and national standards were studied, analysis of standard in the relay detection circuit has advantages and disadvantages; after some detection circuit is improved, which can satisfy the modern automated measurement; the relay electrical parameter detection, the detected object is more, the amount of information rich characteristics, this article design of virtual instrument design method of detection system, PC software using NI Labview software to get the data for display, and the next-bit machine communication using the RS-232communication mode.Measurement of electric parameters on electromagnetic relay, the electrical parameters of the measurement data, improve the reliability of the relay, and can guide the application of engineers to design better and more stable electronic circuit. In this paper the relay measuring instrument using ADC0820A/D converter chip, DS89C430chip and LM317three terminal adjustable regulated power supply is the core of the data acquisition system based on virtual instrument technology, and the LABVIEW software PC data display system, realize the electromagnetic relay electrical parameters of test automation.
