Water development is an important basic industry in China’s economic and social development, it is caused more concern as a result of water development in a series of eco-environmental impact. This paper is a case study in Ankang Hydropower Station, has been designed of the program from the ecological runoff regulation.First, this paper describes the case of Ankang Hydropower Station area, based on the data from1970to2010of Ankang Hydrological Station and Ankang Hydropower Station operating water level in the past20years,outflow and inflow, power runoff series data, analysis the runoff characteristics of the area and the ecological impact after building a reservoir, indicating that the hydrological processes of homogenization and hydrological changes after building Ankang Hydropower Station,and there are an increasing trend in some fish like hydrostatic; In addition, by analyzing the ecological runoff, make out the reservoir the ecological evaluation. Finally, proposing ecological runoff regulation program, and then select the wet representative years, average representative year, dry representative year, three typical years to design, general power and ecological aspects of the design plan and the original proposal, the following conclusions:the three kinds of programs generating capacity are relatively close; compared with the original program,design plans have more reduction in power peaking capacity; ecological terms, the program (1) and program (2) are both of higher score than the original program, which program (1) above more. Considered the impact of general power and ecology, programs (1) is an ideal program.
