With the continuous development of the urbanization level and the national economy continued to improve, a lot of cities in the urban landscape has changed dramatically in recent years, urban green space at the building on the quantity and quality is also rising. Changshu City, urban greening rate need to be further enhanced, in the past because of the lack of systematic urban planning, urban greening and urban layout and lack of coordination, making the city green seems fragmented, species distribution unreasonable, should not form a green network, will not achieve noise reduction, dust-proof function. In recent years, the diversity of greening is a good problem to solve, although attention to this problem, the situation of urban greening has been greatly improved. But with the ecological requirements of urban construction as compared to the larger gap is still there.In this paper, the ecological theory outlined in green on the urban green space system, landscape ecology, ecological and green space development and the course are introduced. Changshu City, then elaborated on the status of ecological green space system, analysis of the current green space system planning problems, at the basic principles of landscape design, theory and methods under the guidance of ecology and many other theories, summarize and use of appropriate design methods, thereby enhancing design of Changshu City of ecological green space development strategy have been studied in order to achieve Changshu sustainable development of green space system.
