The construction of In-House Attitude Test Bench for turbo-shaft engines is one of the most important programs for aero engine development by China Aviation Powerplant Research Institute.Aiming at the design for In-House Attitude Test Bench for small&medium turbo-shaft engines, the development status of attitude tests for aero engines at home and abroad are introduced and the general programs for attitude test bench for turbo-shaft engine are proposed.The3-D modeling for structure of the test bench are performed through CATIA software. The static and dynamic analyses are carried out by ANSYS ICEM software. Based on the calculation and the analysis of the3-D design of test bench, the optimal design for the test bench are further performed, which will lay a solid foundation for fulfillment of attitude test bench for turbo-shaft engines.The attitude test is one of the most important tests for the pattern determination of turbo-shaft engines which is paid an increasingly attention to by the development departments at home and abroad. Test bench is the most important constituent part.The success of development of the attitude test bench filled in the blanks in this field at home.This test bench has been put into application with good performance.
