With the step’s acceleration of the construction of intelligent electric grid, thedemands of intelligent electric meter grow with each passing day and especially thedemands of single-phase intelligent electric meter is much larger. At present, theintelligent electric meter in the market mostly adopts the design method of "SpecialMeasure Chip+Special RTC+MCU", but there are several shortcomings such as thetransmission’s reliability, the generations’ compatibility and more costly. To furtherimprove the performance and reduce production costs of the single-phase intelligentelectric meter, this thesis adopts SOC technology and uses highly integrated andperformance71M6542F produced by MAXIM as the main chip. Then, A remote valuecontrol single-phase intelligent electric meter with two-way measurement, RTC,multi-communication modes is designed. The electric meter is multipurposeintegrating, precision meter, high stability and low cost.And it makes a breakthrough atthe development for intelligent meter and has an expansive application prospect.First of all, the thesis introduces the historical development of intelligentelectric meter, explores the trend of single-phase intelligent electric meter both athome and abroad. According to the contrasts of the demand, the advantages anddisadvantages for SOC scheme is analyzed. Then we draw a remote value controlsingle-phase intelligent electric meter, which is based on the chip71M6542F. And wefocus on the analysis of the principle how the chip71M6542F works and the chip’scharacteristics. What’s more, according to the different function and application ofcircuit module, we design overall hardware frame, and expound the hardware design ofthe remote valve control single-phase intelligent electric meter, partly includes thecircuit of sampling, power management circuit, communication circuit, key-press anddisplay circuit, all that include interface circuit. The work principles of each section ofcircuit and that how to make these circuits come true are given. After that, inaccordance with the design concept of module and hierarchy, we describe the remotevalue control single-phase intelligent electric meter’s software design and operatingplatform. We also focus on the temperature compensation algorithm on RTC and thesmall circuit filtering algorithm. Last but not the least, the thesis introduces the erroranalysis and correction of the single-phase intelligent electric meter based on SOC,and according to the technical specification, we test the performance of the singlephase intelligent electric meter and the measurement results of the single phase intelligent electric meter are shown in the thesis. In addition, we explain the presentrunning situation.The actual test and operation prove that the meter based on71M6542F workshigh-stability and measures accurately, and it meets relevant corresponding standardsof the State Grid Corp.
