Planning And Design Research On New Type Flowers And Trees Industrial Belt Of Chengdu In The Context Of Garden City

The landscaped for urban greening function is the protection of the urban construction. Its high-end agricultural industry characteristics promote its development continues to heat up in the process of urbanization intensified. In the framework for the development of Chengdu landscaped industry, the western suburbs of Chengdu area has focused on the main force of the industry, and become a pillar industry in the Western agricultural development, but because of the influence of traditional ideas to the flowers and trees production in Chengdu area, and now in the development of bottlenecks, a new technology industrial development path needs urgently to break the tradition. With Chengdu proposed to build a "world modern garden city" in2009, the city’ s ecological, economic and social development put forward higher requirement, the idea of the urban construction changed stratcgically.The abundant flowers and trees in the western suburbs of Chengdu will provide a good foundation for the garden city construction in the aspects of agriculture industrial system natural and rural urban form,the harmony between people and nature. On the contrary, the garden city construction guideline will also bring opportunities and challenges for sustainable development of flowers and trees industry. and how to put the flowers and trees industry into the garden city construction category become a worth considering question.This study is based on the scope of Chengdu. First through site visits Wenjiang, Pi County, Chongzhou flowers and trees industry status quo, including flowers and trees production of varieties and production methods. Through comparative analysis to the development of landscaped at home and abroad, and combine with the theoretical background of the garden city, dialcctically analyze the deficiencies and opportunities of the development of flowers and trees in the Chengdu region.and propose the concept and idea to the development of new type flowers and trees industrial belt:this new type flowers and trees industrial belt takes flowers and trees production as a fundamental, while combining the new forms of rural tourism, breaking the traditional landscaped development bottlenecks. In the planning studies, with the pastoral landscape theory, the function of the new type flowers and trees industrial belt and landscape features in the context of the garden city has been located firstly. While in the context of the planning and design study, mainly related with the standardized production of flowers and trees, the shape of ecological pastoral landscape, the protection and utilization of rural tourism resources, traditional cultural heritage, and then formed the basic guiding ideology and methods of the planning and design content to the new type flowers and trees industrial belt. It can provide theoretical reference for today’ s Chengdu flowers and trees industrial belt construction.Finally, put the theoretical research into practice. Take the IT Road in Pi County as the project instance to do a Concept Plan design, outstanding the new applications to the flowers and trees industry, then reflect the practical feasibility for the theoretical research.
